A Tradition of Giving Back

At Arca Financial Group, we believe that it is important to give back to the community that we're a part of, and that strong communities are a function of the contributions of the individuals within them.

Arca is proud to be a sponsor of the Centre for Family Business, a local association created to provide a forum for sharing the collective wisdom of families who are working at keeping together what they have spent a lifetime creating.

Each December, Arca Financial Group hosts our Holiday Gala, which raises donations for the Family and Children's Services of Waterloo Region. In 2009, with our fundraising ornaments from our charity tree, and with additional donations made by our clients and suppliers, we raised over $2000. Thank you to everyone who donated their time and money to such a worthy cause.

Arca Financial Group hosts a number of community events that are not only a great time, but more importantly, raises funds for some of our local charities. Through our Charity BBQ's, Arca Staff and participants have enjoyed activities including Advisor Dunk Tanks, Childrens' Obstacle Courses and Fish Tanks, successfully raising donations for the Grand River Hospital Foundation. Arca also sponsors several other local charities throughout the year, including the Manulife Bike and Hike for Heart event, and the Archer Family Golf Tournament and BBQ which raises money for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada.

The staff at Arca have also personally taken on a couple of charity events themselves, such as our annual Thanksgiving food drive competition, donating food supplies to the Food Bank of Waterloo Region. The staff also sponsors a family in need each year at Christmas time through the Adopt-a-Family program organized by Family and Children's Services, a tradition at Arca since 2001.

Arca is also a member of the Greater Kitchener Waterloo Chamber of Commerce.
